Ideas for Use
1. Write a long number on a piece of paper. Have the student roll the place value words die and identify the digit in the number in the place shown on the die.
2. Roll a number die and the place value die. Have the student write a number with the numeral shown on the die in the correct place. Example: 7 tens -- 73, 178, etc.
3. Have the student roll the die and give the place before and after the place shown on the die.
